Municipality Račice is situated in the Czech republic in the Vysočina (Highlands) region, about 3 km west from town of Hrotovice. Area of the village is 361 ha, altitude is 465 meters above sea-level. Now Račice has a population of 82 inhabitants, 7 houses are inhabitated casually. Total count of houses in the village is 41.
Račice is a major traffic node, used by citizens from surrounding villages when going to work, schools and shopping in nearby cities.
There is a general shop and a restaurant in the village.
Surroundings of the village provide good conditions for hiking and bicycle tourism. The new sports facility provides wide sports possibilities (football, tennis, volleyball, football-tennis and ice-hockey in winter time). Part of the facility is also suitable for small children.
